Gianfranco Mingozzi

Gianfranco Mingozzi graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Rome, after earning a degree in Law from the University of Bologna, in 1957. He was assistant director to Federico Fellini and René Clement. Documentary films to his credit include: Tarantula (1962), Note su una minoranza (1964), Con il cuore fermo and Sicilia (1965). His first feature was Trio (1967). His most recent films are: Le lunghe ombre (1986), L’iniziazione (1986) and The Sparrow's Fluttering (1988)..
