Antonia San Juan

Antonia San Juan was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1961. When she was 19, she moved to Madrid where she started acting. She has performed in many films (over 30 in 15 years), reaching international success in 1999 after playing the role of transsexual Agrado in Pedro Almodóvar's All about my mother. She directed the short films V. O. (2001), Tu llevas la palma (2004), La China (2005), La familia española (2006), A las once (2009) and the feature Tú eliges (2009), screened at TGLFF 2010.
