Alexis Dos Santos

Alexis Dos Santos was born in Buenos Aires and spent part of his childhood in a little village in Patagonia. He studied Architecture and Cinema in Buenos Aires and Barcelona before finishing his studies in London at the UK National Film & Television School, where he wrote and directed: Watching Planes, Axoltl, Snapshots and Sand. His debut Glue (2006) marked his return to his native village. Co-produced with the Huber Bals Fund of the Rotterdam Film Festival, the movie received the special Jury award at the 2007 GLBT Torino Festival. He then directed Unmade Beds (2009), which was presented at Sundance and at the Berlin Film Festival. His latest work is Random Strangers (2011).
